About

Hi, I'm Trent Jackson, the founder of Anchor Websites. This venture was born out of the ashes of my previous digital marketing agency, Pink & Rhino. My mission with Anchor Websites is to empower small business owners by making powerful, scalable websites accessible to all.

Drawing from my extensive experience in digital marketing, I've tailored our services to meet the unique needs of businesses. We offer a unique pay-as-you-go subscription pricing model for our powerful core website technology stack. Instead of a large upfront cost, you pay a small, predictable monthly fee, making budgeting easy and manageable.

At Anchor Websites, we're all about providing flexibility and scalability as your business grows. We offer optional paid add-ons that you can utilize as your needs evolve, ensuring your website grows with your business.

We offer fully managed websites with an easy-to-use drag and drop builder, making content updates a breeze. We handle the technical side of things, so you can focus on what you do best - running your business.

The Pink & Rhino Era

Our Roots

Pink & Rhino was more than just a digital marketing agency. It was a creative hub, part marketing agency and part idea incubator. Founded between 2010 and 2012, we were remote from day one, a concept that was quite innovative at the time. This approach allowed us to leverage a global talent pool, bringing together diverse minds and skills. However, it also presented many challenges, from coordinating across time zones to building a cohesive team culture.

OUR STORY

The Winds of Change

The Winds of Change

As the years passed, I observed how technology evolved, trends shifted, and the way people interacted with media and brands changed. The emergence of video marketing, social shopping on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and YouTube Stores marked a significant shift in the digital landscape. Websites needed to become more accessible, more flexible, and more nimble to keep up with these changes.

Running Pink & Rhino, with all its moving parts, began to take a toll on me. The constant need to stay ahead of the curve, the pressure to deliver diverse services, and the challenges of managing a remote team across different time zones - it all started to wear me down. I found myself fatigued, questioning if there was a better way to serve our clients and fulfill our mission.

The traditional marketing agency model that Pink & Rhino was built on started to feel outdated. It was time for a change, a time to evolve and adapt to the new digital landscape. I realized that to stay relevant and effective, we needed to niche down and trim the fat. We needed to focus on what we did best and what our clients needed most. This meant letting go of some of the services we offered and honing in on a specific area.

The Pink & Rhino Era

Our First Vessel

Our journey began with a spark of curiosity. A desire to study the art of storytelling, to explore the intricate dance of interaction between brands and their audiences, and to create on behalf of our clients. We wanted to share our creative strategy, to help businesses navigate the vast digital seas and reach their desired destinations.

At Pink & Rhino, we were more than just a digital marketing agency. We were a creative hub, a place where ideas were born and nurtured. We were a global crew of explorers, charting unknown territories and discovering new ways to connect and communicate. Being remote from day one, we had the privilege of working with a diverse team spread across the globe.

Our marketing adventures took us on incredible journeys, from working on grassroots community projects to collaborating with digital teams worldwide. We had the opportunity to work with incredible people, like Neil Patel, CEO of OpenXCell Software, and many others who enriched our journey with their unique perspectives and expertise.

Our roots are deeply embedded in this curiosity and creativity. And even as we've evolved into Anchor Websites, these roots continue to guide us. They remind us of our mission to empower businesses, to make powerful websites accessible to all, and to help our clients tell their stories in the most compelling way.

OUR STORY

The Winds of Change

The realization that businesses needed a more accessible, flexible, and nimble solution led to the birth of Anchor Websites. I decided to close down Pink & Rhino and focus on creating a solution that would empower entrepreneurs, idea people, and small businesses to quickly and affordably launch their vision.

Anchor Websites is designed to bring all the SEO benefits of WordPress, along with its flexibility and customization options, into a fully managed, all-inclusive subscription offering. We've taken the powerful core website technology stack of WordPress and packaged it into a unique pay-as-you-go subscription model. Instead of a large upfront cost, businesses pay a small, predictable monthly fee, making budgeting easy and manageable.

This new model allows businesses to leverage the power of WordPress without having to worry about the technical aspects. We handle everything from hosting to security, updates, and backups, freeing businesses to focus on what they do best. With Anchor Websites, businesses can have a powerful, scalable, and SEO-friendly website that's ready to grow with them.
