Terms of Service

1. Services
Anchor Sites provides website design, development, and managed hosting services. The specific scope of services for each project will be outlined in a separate project agreement or statement of work.
2. Hosting Plans
Managed hosting plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
3. Payment Terms
Development projects require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion and before site launch. Hosting fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you own all custom designs, content, and code created specifically for your project. We retain the right to use screenshots of completed work in our portfolio. Third-party licenses (themes, plugins, fonts) are subject to their respective terms.
5. Content Responsibility
You are responsible for providing all content (text, images, logos) for your website in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may affect project timelines. You warrant that all content provided does not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Uptime Guarantee
We guarantee 99.9% uptime for all managed hosting plans. This excludes scheduled maintenance windows (communicated in advance) and circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Service credits may be issued for extended outages at our discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
Anchor Sites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate hosting services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a complete backup of your website files and database. Development projects in progress are subject to the cancellation terms in the project agreement.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
